Submit a proposal to host a creative workshop or master class or lead an artist talk. 

JANUARY SCHEDULE

Our first workshop will focus on creating an artists resume. An artist resume is a brief overview listing your key experience and achievements within your craft. Artists use resumes to apply for opportunities such as residencies, exhibitions, grants, awards, shows, and more. All creative disciplines, as a creative we all need them if you are interested in getting access to funding and opportunities, plus it’s good to keep record of all the amazing things you're doing. So let’s start by learning how and what are the best practices.

About our host:

DJ Tricey Trice, is a Hammond, IN native that started her career as a teen entrepreneur. After graduating from Purdue University, Trice went on to grow her entertainment business while growing her marketing skills at AT&T, Nuvo Magazine, and Radio One Indianapolis.

She is now a Managing Producer with Studio71 Podcasts and is Co-owner of Trindi Media Group with her wife India Rias-Thompson in Los Angeles, CA.

DJ Tricey Trice is also the host of the daily podcast news commentary show "What The Pod? with Tricey Trice.

Starting April 2023 to December 2023 register for your one-on-one consultation to help leverage your Creative Career. Talk with career artists in your industry to offer guidance and mentorship support. Complete the artists survey to be scheduled.

MAY SCHEDULE 

For May ARTS will be supporting WE ARE INDY ARTS free artists workshop. The Indianapolis Public Library's African-American History Committee (AAHC) and #WeAreIndyArts Collective will host a Workshop for all local Indianapolis artists age 18 and over. The Artists' Workshop will take place at the Central Indianapolis Public Library, located Downtown: 40 E St. Clair Street, in the Riley Room on the First Floor level on Sunday, May 21st, 2023 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. The Free Workshops will cover five areas which can assist beginning and up and coming artists in achieving greater success when submitting to competitions, exhibits, galleries, museums and other arts-related opportunities.

Hobby to Profession is a dedicated workshop for artists interested in turning their craft of art from a hobby to profession. Our first workshop will focus on creating an artists resume.

Kindness Rocks will be an evening of creativity of positive affirmations. Rocks will be collected throughout the community and designed with statements of kindness using paint, and placed throughout the community. All supplies provided FREE. RSVP for attendance. T-Shirt Customizing will be an event integrating screen printing provided by Cat Head Press Printing, with original designs that can be custom painting and tie-dyed. All supplies provided FREE.
